THIS IS SOME SERIOUS SHIT YOU GUYS. PASS THIS AROUND.
Alright. I know I am far from the most popular person on tumblr and it has probably been passed around by someone else but this needs to start making it’s rounds around our neck of the woods.
Here is a breakdown of what this is all about.
Congress wants to ban streaming of copyrighted property completely. Like…EVERYTHING.
This includes: Anime, Music, Video game walkthroughs, Video game videos in general, AMVs on two levels (I guess).
Pretty much just EVERYTHING they could possibly change you for they are going to try now. With no more then 5 years of jail time at that.
There seems to be no way this law would work as it is anyway, but there is a VERY slim chance it could be passed, and god do we not want that.
So here is what you do.
1. Go to the site in the link
2. Sign the letter and have it sent in.
3. Send the link around and inform all the people you can about it.
This is important for so many reasons, so don’t let the thought of this probably being brushed away keep you from helping this along. Every letter helps and every letter counts. Because if this DOES pass we are the ones who will pay the price. Along with many other innocent people.
Do what you can while you can.
